cosplay help Feb. 10th, 2006 @ 09:30 pm
Well I am very excited for the upcoming katsucon as i'm sure everyone else who is going is. Getting to the point though, my friend and I are doing a cosplay of seek and aya from the yankee costumes (were they are dressed up all japanese yakuza, ya know the one?) and while i have the picture of all of there backs, it is really hard to tell what is written in kanji on seek's. I was wondering if anyone knew what it said and could give me a drawing, picture, or anything else that would make it clear enough for me to embroider it onto my costume. Thank you so much for your help!

The Crests in the Roman Hikou Video Jan. 8th, 2006 @ 07:37 pm
Hi! I'm working on my first PLC costume, and I was wondering if anyone had a large and/or hi-res picture of the crests everyone has in the Roman Hikou video. Or if anyone can refer me to any such pictures. Thanks a lot!!!

RH YURA-sama Jan. 8th, 2006 @ 12:18 pm
Hi everyone! I had a photoshoot for my Roman Hikou YURA-sama costume a while ago so I decided to share the pictures with you all. I would have upped them to my Photobucket and put them directly in this entry, but it takes me so long to upload pictures and it's much easier to just post the link :x

YURA-sama ~ Roman Hikou

I do plan on making at least one more YURA-sama costume. I'll be cosplaying his Gekiai outfit sometime this year (as soon as I'm done with my Kyomu Klaha and genin Orochimaru)... I have a feeling making this costume will be the death of me XD;

Thoughts and suggestions are always appreciated < 3

Does anyone have other pictures of these costumes?Collapse )

Also, I'm not sure if I posted these, but here are some cosplay pics from The Reactor '05. Daishi = me, Seek = jarvisaur, Aya = russiannut, and Lida = howironic17. :3

Last week-end a convention named "Taifu Festa" was held in Paris, and I was there with my Psycho le Cému group ^_^
Sadly, there are very few PLC cosplayers in France (or even in Europe?), but I'm proud to say that this is the first French Frontiers team :) And I'm even prouder to add that we won 3rd place for costumes and 1st place for group perfomance in the cosplay contest :D

flammechant as Daishi
torajiro as AYA (and yes, he's a MAN!!)
kuroro_lucifuru as seek (but....ahem -.- Could've started working on his costume a bit sooner *cough*)
Delphine as Lida
myself as YURAサマ

Frontiers/With costumesCollapse )

Needless to say, we had a lot of fun :) There's still some stuff to improve on my costume but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. Cosplaying YURAサマ was an awesome experience; I plan to make his Roman Hikou outfit next, and then maybe the Michi no Sora or Omoide Aruki one o.o Yay for more do-it-yourself fun \o/

So, what do you guys think? :p

» LOVE IS DEAD costumes
I don't think I ever shared this with the community, but my friends and I did DAISHI's, seek's and AYA's costumes from LOVE IS DEAD.

We also set up a "cosplay team" or "costi" site modeled after the costi's in Japan.

» I'm selling my costume!
Hello again!

I am selling my "With" costume...!
It was sooo much fun to wear, but I knew I wouldn't have a chance to wear it again, so I'm hoping it will go to a good home where someone can enjoy it's fuzzy-ness! :D

X posted a bit.

I'm popping in to post a couple pictures of my group's PLC costumes. We recently went to Ani-Magic in Lancaster and spent a good chunk of time in our PLC Weekly Oricon Track Suits.
